Amanda started acting out and began having major self-esteem issues and to self-abuse. She turned to extremely abusive relationships and continuously put herself in dangerous situations.
Amanda started working on herself and realized she wanted to help people. Her passion is strong and, with her education and life experiences, she strives everyday to help other people to deal with the pain and loneliness she felt inside for many years.
After College, Amanda has focused on both individual and group counselling for abused woman and spouses/families of addicts.
